For commercial, apprenticeship, vocational and specialist training providers

Keep your clients' training records useful after the course ends

You deliver specialist or accredited training. Employer clients can use SkillProof for their own governed internal Learning, then keep both completion sources with certificates, wider requirements and renewal dates in one workforce record.

No fee to join the standard referral route. 20% recurring commission on qualifying subscriptions.

After training is delivered

The course is finished. The records are not.

SkillProof gives the client somewhere to keep the record, so you do not become its software helpdesk.

    Client action

    Follow up before dates pass

Managers act on reminders instead of rebuilding a spreadsheet.

Clients can maintain records directly, request evidence or, on applicable plans, import repeat completion CSVs for review. This is not a claim of automatic provider integration.

When this is useful

A good fit when clients keep coming back with record problems.

You will recognise the pattern: the course is complete, but the client is still chasing proof or renewal dates.

  • You train people for employers, rather than only selling courses to individuals
  • You issue certificates or another clear record of completion
  • Clients ask you to resend old certificates they cannot find
  • Repeat or mandatory training dates are still tracked in spreadsheets or calendars
  • You support several sites or teams and clients struggle to see what is current

Who does what

You teach. SkillProof handles the product. The client stays in control.

Training provider

  • Deliver the training and issue completion evidence
  • Notice when a client's records are becoming hard to manage
  • Ask whether they are happy to be introduced

SkillProof

  • Demonstrate SkillProof and explain how the records work
  • Handle onboarding, billing and product support

Client organisation

  • Own the workspace, subscription and records
  • Decide what training is required
  • Control access and permissions

Where SkillProof stops

SkillProof records requirements, attendance, completion evidence and renewal dates, and it can create and deliver an employer's own governed internal courses. It does not award accreditation, provide an accredited content library, manage apprenticeships, submit ILR or funding claims, decide what a client must do or guarantee compliance. Specialist providers and external learning systems remain a separate completion source in the same wider record. Compare an LMS with training records software.

Implementation work needs separate approval and terms. Referral status does not include it automatically.

FAQ

Common training-provider partner questions

Does SkillProof replace our learning management system?

It depends on the learning requirement. SkillProof can create, assign and review governed internal courses, then keep those completions with the wider workforce record. A client may retain a specialist learning system or training provider for accredited content, a large catalogue or learning standards SkillProof does not support.

How can a client record training delivered by us?

Clients can record a completion, attach or request evidence and set the next renewal date. They can also use Sessions to record attendance and trainer outcomes, then link that result to a Training Item or Pathway where it genuinely counts. Applicable plans can import repeat completion CSVs into a review queue. That is not a live provider integration.

Does a referral give us access to the client's workspace?

No. A referral does not create workspace access. Any ongoing access needs a separate connection approved by the client, who remains in control.

What counts as a qualifying referral?

It must be a suitable new organisation, registered and accepted before it enters an active SkillProof sales process. The Partner Agreement covers attribution and payment.

When is referral commission paid?

Commission is based on qualifying subscription payments received by SkillProof. VAT, refunds, credits and chargebacks are excluded. The Partner Agreement contains the full terms.

Can an approved provider use SkillProof for its own team?

Yes. Approved active partners can receive a complimentary Partner Team Workspace for up to 25 staff. Each client still buys and owns its own subscription.
